Tempered Borosilicate Flow Sight Glasses

Made of Borosilicate 3.3 glass. REFMEX GL, for use as control sight glasses in lubrication equipment, as well as observation ports in reel-type flow sight glasses for piping.

With a wide variety of both English and metric measurements and different thicknesses according to operating parameters, they are manufactured in any required length. In order to ensure proper sealing and facilitate assembly, all cuts are squared and polished.

With a wide variety of both English and metric measurements and different thicknesses according to operating parameters, they are manufactured in any required length. In order to ensure proper sealing and facilitate assembly, all cuts are squared and polished.

Additionally, all tubular sight glasses as well as all lubrication tubes are subjected to a tempering heat treatment which confers mechanical characteristics of resistance to them to withstand higher working pressures and a longer service life.

They are used in numerous applications where both chemical resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient are required characteristics. The outer diameters of the tubular sight glasses are available in various sizes from ½” to 8″ and the lengths vary up to 1500mm. The refmex-gl level tube is available in different wall thicknesses according to the pressure requirements of the equipment and is supplied with the ends cut with a diamond disc and squared in order to ensure sealing and avoid sharp edges.
