Because this material is approved by the FDA (USA Food and Drug Administration), it is commonly used in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In order to ensure proper sealing and facilitate assembly, all cuts are squared and polished.

Tubular sight glasses are used instead of polycarbonate sight glasses when greater impact and chipping resistance is sought, as well as when greater flexibility is sought for the sight glass.

DETERGENTS AND CLEANING AGENTS SEVERE EFFECT, AVOID USE.
ESTERS NO EFFECT AT LOW TEMPERATURES. MODERATE EFFECT AT HIGH
PETROLEUM-BASED OILS AND FATS TEMPERATURES. IF ADDITIVES ARE USED, CONSULT SPECIFICATION OF SAME.
